Computer Training at Workplace
My company have sent me for some computer classes. I normally operate their computers okay, but they are buying some new ones soon and so all of the workforce has to learn about them. Personally I think that it is a waste of money and time, as the old system was perfectly acceptable and we could all use it really well. By replacing it, they are spending a lot of money and they have to send all of the staff for computer training as well. I am sure that they will not make us that much efficient, or if they do it will take a long time for them to see the benefits of that.
To me it seems silly doing that at all but especially at a time when the economy is in difficulties and they should really be holding on to their money just in case business is not as good as they expected and their profits fall. I have decided to start getting my CV in order as I expect that they will start to make people redundant soon and I could be one of the first as I am getting old and probably less useful to them than some of the bright young things they have employed here.
